Nothing could stop the Colts from winning a fifth straight game. The continuing injury bugs could not stop them. A poor offensive performance could not stop them. Certainly, the Browns could not stop them.
Their 10-6 victory in Cleveland was the furthest thing from a dominating performance, but it was a win nonetheless. The one thing the Colts need more than anything are those crucial "W's," and we got another one on Sunday.
That marks the Colts' fifth consecutive victory and the end of their trip on the road. Next they will face the NFL's two weakest teams in the Cincinnati Bengals and the Detroit Lions, both at home in Indianapolis.

I'd never say that an ugly win is a good thing, but there might be some light to be seen after today's performance. Usually when teams get on a streak, you tend to worry about when it might end. In Cleveland, we got the win we needed and might gain the motivation we need after playing a sub-par game.
Peyton Manning's two interceptions, one fumble, and zero touchdown passes will only serve to motivate him to destroy the Bengals next week. No player takes a poor performance harder than Manning, and I do feel he will capitalize well in one week's time.
A strong defensive performance was able to hold the Browns' offense to only six points. Despite losing Gary Brackett and Kayunta Dawson, they were able to hold off the Browns. No team has been better at replacing injured players, so this might be an interesting test for the Colts in the weeks to come.
Now the Colts stand at 8-4, which is not a bad place to be. Much better than when they were sitting at 3-4 and were thought of as the most disappointing team in the NFL. There is still a very likely possibility that the Colts can win all of their remaining regular season games.
I suppose we'll just have to wait and see. Colts fans, stay tuned.
