The dominant teams in the NBA have started to take shape, and the Cleveland Cavaliers are one of them.
With the entire team being healthy for the first quarter of the season, the Cavaliers' offense has really started to thrive. Zydrunas Ilgauskas is beginning to emerge back to life and post double-doubles again.
LeBron is still scoring like he did in 2007 and 2006. Delonte West is hitting the jumper like there ain't no tommorrow.
But what is the key to these amazing numbers the Cavs are putting up on the board?
There is a three-headed monster at the guard spots—Mo Williams, Delonte West, and "Boobie" Gibson. These three players have set themselves on a mission—and that mission is to score.
The way these guards are playing, there is no stopping Cleveland this year on its way to the Conference championship. LeBron's latest comments on 2010 free agency are not distracting this team from good, fundamental basketball.
The way this team has gelled together this early in the season could mean trouble for the rest of the East. Just how good will this team be in the playoffs if it can stay healthy?
Their worst players are playing like stars, and their best players are playing like superstars. This team should go far.
