Boise State 108, Drake 64

Drake came into the game at Taco Bell Arena at 4-2 on the year.  They have been impressive at times this year, giving Virginia and Ole Miss all they could handle and upsetting Iowa State 74-65.

The Broncos, now 5-1 on the year, had suffered only one loss to a good Long Beach State team.

This game was thought to be a challenge for the Broncos, but BSU lead early on and never let up.

Junior Drew Wiley came off the bench to lead all Broncos with 17 points.  Freshman Thomas Bropleh had 16 and the team's leading scorer Anthony Drimic added another 15 on the night.  In all, ten Broncos scored in the game, and it was truly an impressive outing for the Boise State men.

Another impressive stat was the shooting percentage for BSU.  61 percent overall, but 63.6 percent from beyond the three-point line.  Add to that 64.7 percent from the foul line, and Coach Rice has to be satisfied.

This young team is giving Bronco fans a reason to be hopeful.

If the BSU men can continue to shoot like this all year, who knows how far they will go?

More impressive stats: 37 rebounds, 20 team assists, six steals and three blocked shots

Next Game: Indiana State (6-1) Saturday, December 3, at 8:00 p.m. MST, Taco Bell Arena

The only loss of the year for the Sycamores was to Minnesota 76-69, but they have had impressive wins over Ball State and Texas Tech.

It should be a great game!
