WWE News: A New Feud for Cena in the Works, CM Punk Gets More Backstage Support

Today I would like to discuss two things that are currently going on in the WWE backstage.

First, let's start with John Cena. As you know, John Cena is currently starting a feud with Kane.

Well, according to Wrestlenewz.com, WWE creative has someone else Cena could potentially feud with.

A feud between John Cena and Daniel Bryan was brought up at a recent WWE creative meeting. This does not mean they are considering it for anytime soon but it was brought up and discussed.

This news is not only shocking, but it begs the question: If they do eventually do this feud, which one of them will turn heel? On top of that, how would they feud when they are technically on different brands?

This idea for a feud, although not happening anytime soon, gives us an idea about what direction WWE creative is taking for these two superstars.

The second topic I wish to discuss is CM Punk.

According to Wrestlenewz.com,

While more than a few people within WWE still aren’t totally sold on CM Punk as WWE Champion, it’s said that he has won over a lot of them the past few weeks, especially with his performance at TLC.

CM Punk has had an amazing push for the second half of 2011, and I hope they continue it going into 2012.

With that being said, it is good to hear that CM Punk is finally being supported by everyone in the back. He truly does deserve this run as WWE Champion and it would be unfair for him to lose it because of backstage politics.

I will post more on these two stories as they come out.

Stay tuned.
