I'm a freelance writer based in Los Angeles. I've written on a wide variety topics ranging from news and current events, to politics, social issues, health & wellness, business, music and sports. My work has been featured in magazines and newspapers from Baseball Digest to the Portsmouth Herald.
I also write a Red Sox blog called Kennedy's Commentary, where I strive to give my readers unique and interesting perspectives on the latest Red Sox news and developments.
www.KennedysCommentary.blogspot.com has all the latest Red Sox news, information and stats, plus an analysis and commentary of all things Red Sox. The Boston Globe has linked Kennedy's Commentary to its online sports page and has quoted it repeatedly. A must read for any member of Red Sox Nation.

I am a sophomore at John F. Kennedy High School. I have played 3 sports in organized leagues. I played JV Football last season, I'm a quarterback. I played baseball in BCC from about age 10-13. I played basketball in the YES League in 2007. I enjoy watching sports, playing sports, writing about sports. My favorite team is the Baltimore Ravens. I also like the Orioles. I despise the New York Yankees and the Washington Nationals. Even though I hate the Yankees to death, I have some Yankee fan friends. I'm 15 years old, probably the only one here at that age. I have been a sports guy since 1998, when I was 5! Then, I liked the Cowboys. I started liking my current favorite team, the Ravens. I mostly write about baseball, but I know a lot about each sport.
And yes, that is me in the pictu...

Being a big Boston Red Sox fan in the middle of Pennsylvania can be a pretty lonely business. I know that many will argue this point, stating that there are tons of Red Sox fans everywhere since '04 and '07, but in my neck of the woods it's mostly darkness and crickets.
The three main avenues for my free time these days include reading, writing, and the Red Sox. I try to be as objective as possible in my writing, but I am what I am and will make no apologies for it.
Aside from the Sox, my other sports interests include Notre Dame Football, the Philadelphia Eagles & the NFL, the Phillies, and to a small extent, Penn State Football. You couldn't pay me enough to go to an NBA game and hockey, though I don't despise it like I do pro basketball, just doesn't hold my interest. G...

I was born in Newark, NJ and have been a Yankee fan ever since Chambliss hit that walk off home run and thousands of fans rushed onto the field trying to take parts of his uniform off. thats what did it for me, I was hooked for life.
My most recent work before writing here at the bleacher report was writing on the black board in high school - one thousand times " I SHALL NOT SHOOT SPITBALLS AT MY CLASSMATES "
No, but really I'm having a blast doing something that I never thought was so much fun, I think I'll go write an opera now. Hope you enjoy my articles ( I know I do ).

Born and bred Red Sox Red (you'll notice a touch of this in anything I write). Can barely remember 67's Impossible Dream, but suffered with Fisk in 75, Buckner in 86, Bucky Dent, Aaron Boone, Paul Oneill, et al in whatever years those were, before laughing through the Yankee Choke of 2004 and the sweet tastes of champagne in 04, 07 and ??. Favorite numbers 1,2,4,6 (Go Pesky, At Last) 8,9,27 and 42... Favorite color Red... Favorite Team: Need you ask,.. Least Favorite Team: NY Yankees (though no one plays the game as hard as Jeter), Favorite Songs: Dirty Water, Sweet Caroline and Tessie by the Drop Kick Murphy's..Where do I Want to Be Buried? I am from Pittsburgh but have divorced the Pirates because their ownership has been so atrocious over the last few years. If they do in fact get better, I will root for them. I have a very special place for the Yankees because my first time ever being able to watch the late, late World Series games were in 1996 with my late father as the Yankees came back to beat the Braves. I hated the Braves because of the way they ripped the heart out of Pittsburgh fans out and it was a pleasure seeing a young Derek Jeter, Mariano Rivera and Andy Pettite come back from a 2-0 hole. So if you don't like the reason I am a Yankees fans, screw off!

I am currently pursuing my bachelors degree in Mass Communications with a concentration in Advertising at Iona College in New Rochelle, New York. I have been raised as a Yankee fan since I was a little kid, but I truly fell in love with them when they produced what was, in my opinion, the greatest team to ever take the field: the 1998 team. I was 10 years old when the Yanks swept the Padres in the World Series, and I have followed their every move, along with moves throughout the rest of Major League Baseball, ever since.

Writer bio
Name is Andrew Otovic and sports is all I know, what I do, what I read, and also how I breathe. I'm a huge Red Sox fan, a big Titan's fan and a Pats fan..Titans over Pats though. My two favorite sports to watch are basketball and baseball. So of course, I love the Celtics. My love for the Celtics goes back to Antoine Walker's rookie year when they won 19 games so as you can see, I'm not like the thousands that jumped on the bandwagon for last year and the future. No offense but I can't stand hockey or the NHL for that matter. I am very knowledgeable in all four major sports, however hockey is the least and baseball is the most. My ultimate goal in life is to work in sports in some capacity whether it would be to be an executive for a Major League Baseball team or an NBA team. Even a spo...

First of all, I feel like I am way out of my league but I am going to try writing about the pastime I love. Remember it will be a woman's point of view. I am 43, I have been married to the same wonderful guy for 23 years and we have two great kids. I have worked in the IT Staff for the same company for 20+ years. I am proud to say that I am third generation Red Sox fan! In addition to watching baseball, I enjoy family time at camp, playing golf and studying religions.

Im a graduate of Brooklyn College in NYC and have my journalism degree and hope to attain a post-graduate degree as well. I have my own website, liveabovemediocrity.com, which follows me in my daily travels and life and is my official blog.
My favorite teams are the Spurs, Padres, and Lions. I know...strange picks huh? Well, I just fell in love with these teams in the early 90's when they had D-Rob, Barry, and Gwynn on them.

Writer bio
Edgar Antonio Nunez is a communications, marketing and graphic design professional currently doing his thing under the neon glow of Las Vegas.
He was born in the Boogie Down Bronx, New York, so consequently, he was destined to bleed pinstripes and bleed big blue. He made a detour at New York's "sixth borough," Miami, for five years before heading west.
His main sports interests include pro football, pro baseball, college football and sports commentary.
His athletic glory culminated in being inserted during garbage time of a Catholic school junior varsity basketball game and promptly fouling out.
When not writing about the Yankees or Giants and other moribund topics, he'll spend an off-day doing his charitable workâvolunteering as a practice dummy for bikini-clad mu...

I write a lot about baseball and basketball on here. I'm also a fan of football and college hockey, but I won't be writing about those as much.
I'm a huge fan of Boston sports. I've lived in the Boston area my whole life. My favorite teams are the Celtics and Boston College basketball.
In the future, sportswriter would be an ideal job for me. I really like writing news features about sports more than articles, like they do in Sports Illustrated. If that doesn't work, I'd like to be the Bill James of basketball. If that works out, then hopefully the Celtics will hire me as their lead statistician.
