I am a graduate of the University of Florida with both a BS and MS in Decision and Information Sciences. I lived my entire life in Florida up until January 2008 when I moved to Charlotte, NC for a job. I was born and raised a Gator, and still remain a devoted Gator to this day.

I am a college football freak. I will watch any college football game, anywhere, anytime, and between any two teams. There is nothing better than waking up on Saturday morning, throwing on the Ohio State jersey, turning on Gameday, and then sitting back and watching game after game after game.

I am also a huge fan of college basketball and love the Buckeyes of course. Thad Matta is the man!

My NFL team is the Super Bowl Champion N.Y. Football Giants and I hate with a passion the Dallas Cowboys and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

I have a identity crisis a few times a year when my favorite NBA teams meet and I just didn't know what to do when the Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics met in the playoffs last season.

My articles have been featured on ESPN.com, FoxSports.com, an...

Isaac is 15 years old and goes to Harriton High School in Pennsylvania. He was born and raised in Pennsylvania, but not a Pennsylvania fan. Does not like the Phillies, Sixers, Flyers, Eagles, or the soccer and lacrosse teams, (whoever they are). Is a huge college football fan and a die-hard Penn State football fan from birth. Isaac IS the BIGGEST Penn State fan in the whole world. He will watch and participate in many sports, but he really doesn't care for pro football, hockey, basketball, or any other sport. He only loves college football. His passion of this caused him to find this sight in September of 2008.

The best thing in the world for him is going up to Penn State for a football game. The fans are great, the stadium is huge, the team is successful, the ice cream is th...

18 - Alex Ferguson

Writer bio

I'm Alex, I'm from London, and I have a job as a journalist. About insurance. If there's anything that can drive the person truly mad, it's years of writing about insurance. Trust me. I know.
But my biggest love is sports. In the UK I love my soccer teams, but I have my big American passions: baseball and football. Sure, I can deal with the odd NBA game and March Madness, as well as a bit of the NFL, but give me Ken Griffey's swing and a Penn State White Out any day of the week.
So here I am. I have a blog - http://viewfromnorthamerica.blogspot.com that I hope you'll look at at some point. And I love writing.

20 - Brian Scott

Writer bio

Brian Scott is a New Orleans, LA based freelance writer covering political, social, historical, and sports-related themes. Brian has joined the Bleacher Report because he is quite simply a fanatic of the great game of College Football. As an LSU Alumnus (1997) and LSU Football season ticket holder he naturally follows the LSU Tigers very closely, but also chooses to objectively follow not just other SEC teams, but every other team of interest in the nation. After all, in the BCS era everybody's W/L record affects everbody's season!

Having traveled to many college campuses across America, Brian enjoys nothing more than a traditional college town with fans that are as passionate about their football team as they are about their religion. You will notice him giving props to teams wi...

22 - Lew Wright

Writer bio

Your basic guy who loves college sports.

Did the faceless, corporate management thing for too long.

Business owner long enough to see good times and rough times.

Through it all college sports have and continue to be my passion. My days of being a Pac-10 fan actually date back to the Pac-8. Those were the days when Jim Plunkett was throwing bombs to Randy Vataha and Ahmad Rashad was a running back at Oregon by the name of Bobby Moore.

My favorite college game to take in? Either the one I have tickets to or just about any game on television.

23 - Joseph Morgan

Writer bio

Different picture...same Joe!

I love all things college football!

(The family of my cousin Daniel, who has appeared many times in my writing.)

24 - Peter Fleischer

Writer bio

For starters, I'm Peter. I know you already knew that, but I figure an introduction is still appropriate. I was born and raised in St. Louis, and I go to school at the best journalism school in the country, Missouri.

I'm a huge sports fan. I always have been. I've read the St. Louis Post-Dispatch Sports section every day since I was seven years old, and respect (almost) everybody in the sports industry, from athletes to writers to management. If I could make my living in the industry, that would be a dream come true for me.

I love the Cardinals, Rams, and obviously all Mizzou sports. I follow the Blues, but not passionately, and root for the Celtics and Grizzlies in the NBA. My passion for my teams will surely bleed into my writing. I'll do my best to cover a wide-variety of spo...

25 - Franklin Crittenden

Writer bio

I am an old school Alabama fan. I live, eat, and sleep college football. I played the game, so I know the sacrifices these kids have to make. I have been involved with Alabama football since Bear Bryant's glory days. I have witnessed Alabama winning 7 National Championships.

The picture displayed is "yours truly" sitting at Bear Bryant's own desk.

When I die I plan to have my ashes spread over Bryant-Denny stadium. I only ask that I live long enough to see Alabama win another national championship. It's beginning to look like my days are numbered!

26 - Ron Johnson

Writer bio

Ron Johnson
Height: 6'1
Weight: 175
From: St. Louis, Missouri

If there was ever a man who lived to shake up the foundation on "perfection," it is the enigma known as Ron Johnson. For the past two years, Johnson has been rocking the nation with countless submissions that challenge not only the conscience, but also the sports mind. From his censor filled "My Two Cents" to his comical "Dem Apples," Johnson is living proof that no name wannabes can even have their name etched in history.

Writer bio

I am a die-hard Florida Gators fan and I just want to get my opinions out in the open. I try to keep an open mind about the world of sports and respect other people's opinions. I may not agree with them all, but I will consider them for what they're worth.

A big THANK YOU to everyone who voted for my article "The Death of a High School Football Player" as a Pick of the Day.

30 - Will Shelton

Writer bio

I'm 27, born and raised in Knoxville, and currently serving as pastor to a small community of churches in southwest Virginia while attending Asbury Theological Seminary part-time outside Lexington, KY. I'm a lifelong fan of the University of Tennessee, the Atlanta Braves and the Boston Celtics, and the Tennessee Titans since their move to Nashville. I'm the founder and co-author at SouthEastern Sports Blog, where we've been privileged to establish a place among the leading Tennessee sports blogs and recently had a piece linked to on ESPN.com. Outside of the sports world I also write for wreckedfortheordinary.com.

31 - SportMonk

Writer bio

I'm a junior at the University of Nebraska, majoring in news-editorial journalism with an emphasis on sports writing/editing. I'm on the sports desk of the Daily Nebraskan, the campus paper. I'd like to one day write for The Oklahoman (and turn the pape to national prestige) and get big enough to work for ESPN.

Westboro Baptist has been protesting at Nebraska games this season, condemning the state with claims that Memorial Stadium is a temple for the worship of its gods, the Huskers. This caused me to think: If sports is my religion and athletes are my gods, I must be a monk.

32 - Lou Vozza

Writer bio

Only follow two sports closely. College football and golf. SEC fan, Gator fan. Known for my enthusiastic opposition to any kind of college football playoff system.

A small format mini-playoff will create more controversy than it will solve. A playoff system must have at least 24 teams to be credible. I am against a 24 team playoff because it will destroy the drama of the regular season.

33 - Christopher Williams

Writer bio

My name is Christopher "Chris" Williams; I am a 30 year old from South Louisiana. As a sports fan and someone who enjoys entertaining, being a sports writer has always been something I wanted to do. Sometimes life does not always go as planned and for whatever reason life long dreams get off track, but it is time for me to do what I love to do. I hope you enjoy my articles and although some of my work might not be the best, I do attempt to do the best I can when I have the time. Maybe one day I can devote all of my time to doing what I love.

35 - Michael Cline

Writer bio

Sports have been a huge part of my young (OK, maybe not that young) life. I was born a Buckeye and have been following Buckeye Football since the Tom Tupa days. I'm a fan of all things Ohio (Buckeyes, Reds, Bengals, Browns to name a few), but relocated to Georgia so I know a fair share about southern teams/conferences as well. I've participated in multiple sports and of course am a professional spectator. I've been writing for B/R for a little over a month and have loved every minute of being a part of the community.

36 - Jeff Contizano

37 - Michael Shibley

Writer bio

Well I am a huge Tennessee Volunteers fan. I have bled Orange and White all my life. Nothing can stop me from watching the Vols on a football Saturday and any other Vols or Lady Vols sport they have. Listening to broadcasting legend John Ward is the reason I want to become a broadcaster.

38 - Joe Guarr

Writer bio

Joe is currently a student at THE Michigan State University and has developed an unhealthy obsession with soccer over the years.

As one of the MLS community leaders along with Thomas Leemon, he hopes to give the league a wider exposure through his writing. He is also always looking for new MLS writers to help the community grow.

His sporting interests encompass more than just the Beautiful Game though. At any given time you can find him watching baseball, basketball, American football and hockey, or trying to understand cricket.

When not writing, he finds time to cheer for Arsenal, Shrewsbury Town, Fulham, Glasgow Rangers, the Chicago Fire, the US National Team, the Cincinnati Bengals, the Detroit Tigers and of course his beloved Michigan State Spartans.

41 - Tim Cary

Writer bio

43 - J.C. Hagan

Writer bio

Greetings stalkers!

I'm J.C. I used to write articles for the site when it was only a red-and-silver thing with four or five "top writers" on the left hand of the site. See that "93" before my name in the link up top? That means I'm a hardcore old-timer. I even had one of the first articles from here to be featured on deadspin (I think). I like to pull these facts out at the swank B/R cocktail parties.

Of course I've taken liberal amounts of time off. This is probably my third go-around with the site - if there's a B/R "comeback player of the year" award, I want it, and I'm building an army of homicidal robots to get it. While this makes me seem unreliable and mercurial, often times life gets in the way of fun. Sometimes other forms of fun g...

I love college sports. Need I say more?

Ok well I will. I am a Oregon Duck fan first and foremost. I am not a conference cheerleader but I will defend the Pac 10 when people down talk it without reason. I love college football. I read a handful of preseason magazines every summer. I have 5 tv's in my living room through football season so that I don't miss very much. I like to travel around to the differnent college stadiums as well, no matter who is playing. I have been to 9 college stadiums in the last 5 years.
I also like college basketball, but not to the extent of football. I do my best to follow lacrosse, track, baseball, softball, cross country, gymnastics and as many other college sports as I can.

46 - Quinn Gooch

I am a former BYU player who is now dishing about everything Cougar related. My credentials are my football career -if that counts for anything-, which includes starting in 30+ games and two top 15 finishes. Enjoy my perspective.

48 - Jonathan Lintner

Jonathan Lintner is a journalism student at Western Kentucky University. Sports are his passion, ranging from college football, college basketball, baseball and auto racing.

As a News Ed. major, Jonathan loves to write. A lot. When he isn't writing at Bleacher Report, Jonathan is busy contributing to Speedwaymedia.com or playing iRacing.com's racing simulator and NCAA 09 on his XBOX.

Down the road, Jonathan hopes to become a professional writer at a newspaper or magazine. Right now, it's all getting some experience and watching good games in the process.
