I recently graduated from Davidson College where I covered the Wildcats in their run to the Elite 8 in 2008. I worked in the NFL in 2008 and am now looking to write or work in media relations. I love mid-major basketball and have followed the Carolina Panthers since their inception in 1995.
I've returned from a month long hiatus, and was hoping you could give this a look.
Haven't heard from ya in a while. Come read my articles about the Panthers as they relate to the Saints.
Will, this is a comment I made about your article on how the NCAA Selection Committee sucked all of the drama out of the first weekend of the Tournament.
Michael, I am sorry if it sounded like a conspiracy theory. However, there are economic considerations. The NCAA needs to fill arenas. Let's take Arizona and Utah in Miami. If we put St. Mary's and Utah in Miami, how many people would go to the AAA to see it? Same with Wisconsin v. Creighton.
The tournament is too big for the marginal midmajor, that's the point. The NCAA has to fill arenas and the Big 10 and teams like that have a better chance than the midmajors, no matter how cool Patty Mills and Stephen Curry are.
Have a good day.
Since the Panthers are probably going to be looking corner in the early parts of the draft, you may be interested in this.
Have a good one.
Hey Will, welcome to Bleacher Report! It's a pleasure to see a fellow Panthers fan! I look forward to reading what you have to say about the Panthers and Clemson. Thank you for reading and commenting on my article. Trust me, I am hard headed, but more importantly, I stand behind what I write about; I don't drop tail and turn at the drop of a hat.
At any rate, welcome aboard!
You are enormously talented as a writer. I appreciate your work very much. I hope to read more of your work in the future. I'd like to see some stuff on your team, the Carolina Panthers.
I wrote of a review of the VCU-UCLA madness last night
Also, he definitely did not go over and back. It was close, but he avoided it. :P
