Brett's Bio
I'm a 25-year-old sports writer from the Midwest who attended a Big Ten school, and while I'm a fan of said school and a die-hard Steelers, Pirates, Penguins and Cavaliers fan, I pride myself on coming across unbiased regardless of what I'm discussing.
I hate engaging in discussions with people who can't rationally talk about their own teams without some sort of absurd bias creeping through. I love my teams just like everyone else. If they're good, I can tell you that, but if they're bad, I can tell you why.
My primary passions are college football and the NFL from a national scope, but I'm also a big NBA fan and have worked for an NBA team. I've worked at three newspapers, have covered Division I college football, and worked at a prominent sports cable TV network. In addition, I currently am doing some freelance work for a major sports web site.

Hey Brett,
I just wanted to let you know that Bleacher Report has launched out of beta with an updated look and feel and some great new features. Check out the "Game On" link in the header to find out more.
Next week we'll be launching the site to the world with some public announcements—and it'd be great to get a contribution from you between now and Tuesday to make Bleacher Report's launch a success.
Let me know if you need any help with ideas or have questions. Have a great weekend Brett!

How is it different that Kansas hasn't beaten anyone as compared to Oregon?
Kansas is undefeated in a BCS conference. There were 6 teams in college football that were undefeated. Why shouldn't they be ranked high this late in the season?

For the record...Oregon was ranked so low because of Cal's loss to a poor team. Notice that Cal was #11 in my poll...but I guess we can't please everyone when making the polls.

I understand that Cal just lost, but I just wanted to point out that you had Cal at #12 and Oregon at #4 even though Cal beat Oregon at Oregon. Explain that one... Also, I want you to realize that I had Ohio State at #1 before they gained the top spot. Also, how can you not rank Hawaii? College football as a whole is average this season. Why then does Illinois deserve to be ranked with two loses after winning 4 games the past two seasons and not Hawaii?

Always Outstanding Articles Brett. I see you have found this site after recommending it to you. I will continue to post your 14 Thoughts / 14 Hours articles on my site, although I had to take it down due to some abnormal irregularities after copy and pasting the article on wordpress. I will try to get it back up tomorrow.
