Matthew's Bio
Sports Guru in my own mind
But seriously...I'm a 25 year old firefighter/paramedic living in Garland, Texas (suburb of Dallas). I'm a life-long, diehard, for richer or poorer, sickness and in health Texas Rangers and Texas Longhorns fan. I love my other teams, very much, but Hook'em Horns and GO RANGERS!
Been a baseball player my entire life, in high school I was C/1B, scorekeeper, and assistant coach...we only had one coach most of the time. Worked baseball for the Texas Longhorns in their 2002 NCAA Championship season. And I will sit in section 41, Row 4, Seat 1 when the Texas Rangers win their first World Series...can't be much longer now.

I'll make sure to look for you in your seat when the Rangers win the World Series. As long as it isn't the Cubs I will be fine.

Nah. I hate Bush. I can't wait until he leaves the White House. He should've been impeached for robbing this country of money and it's citizens.
I feel your pain. As a Mets fan, I truly understand what you are going through. lol

Hahaha wow. You are easy. I want more than that from my Mets. After making it to Game 7 of the NLCS in 2006, I am demanding the World Series now.
Out of curiosity since I don't know much about the Rangers, when was their last playoff appearance? I doubt they made it when Bush owned them. He can barely run a country much less a baseball team.

Hmmm. Maybe there will be a Mets and Rangers world series then. We have our minor leaguers getting ready to come up and make it big.

Yeah. You guys better hold onto him. I think he would stay there. He loves it in Texas. Its the best place for him.

Wow. I'll take a guy who is slumping like that on the Mets right now. Haha. Those numbers aren't bad.

It's just frustrating. With all the stars this team has and look at how they lost last night. I was sick for the rest of the night.
I would love to have Josh Hamilton on this team. Is he still killing it out in Texas?
Delgado has carried this team for over a month now. MLB needs to give him some type of credit. He should've gotten NL player of the month nod for July.

The only way the Mets will make it is by using their minors. The major league players won't get it done. It's been that way the whole season. The kids have been picking this team up.
They're smart in bringing in Niese to replace Maine. They need bullpen help. The current one isn't getting it done. It's going to cost them the pennant if they don't straighten it out. Bring up Kunz and Figueroa. He can go at least one inning.
