Ryan's Bio

Ryan Alberti played four years of college football in central New Jersey before lighting out for the Southern California coast and the eastern Mojave Desert. Professional commitments have since lured him to the San Francisco Bay Area, where he spends his free time cuddling with a space heater and longing for the sunburns of yesteryear.

Ryan Writes About

The Short List facts and information about Ryan Alberti

Ruth or Mays?

The Babe. But only because I'm such a diehard Kelly McGillis fan. (Put THAT in your Google search field and smoke it.)

Unitas or Montana?

Unitas. Those Montana winters are brutal.

Jordan or Russell?

Jordan. Russell couldn't hit .202 to save his life.

Pele or Maradona?

Maradona, because I'm a sucker for Desperately Seeking Susan. Unless we're talking about Pele the Hawaiian goddess of fire, in which case I have to go with the deity.

  3. Hey, Ryan. This morning I gave my best shot at my first time editing. The problem is that I'm not sure I did a very good job. I had to do a lot of changing grammar and punctuation, and I don't know if I made it better or worse. How do you edit someone's article without changing their style? I want to become a better editor so I can be more of an all-around contributor to B/R.
