Bruce's Bio

I was born in New Orleans and grew up a Saint's fan. The only baseball games I ever saw were Yankees games since they were network owned and we had no real local team. Also a huge Don Mattingly fan even though they were not very good in those years. Moved to CT and latched onto the underdog JETS. I have been hooked ever since, although I still follow the Saint's and root for them when I can.

  1. Thanks very much. I try my hardest to not be bias.

  2. yeah, eddie/gaz/whoever definitely has a thing about Pollard. If I had as much time on my hands as he seems to have on his, I would bait him, pull him out, and we'd know for sure. But we know. I'm going on a friggin' family cruise thursday (my father-in-law lives in SD but he's a Pats fan, so he's cool with me, and he's taking the whole clan on this thing) so I'm going to miss the Miami game, which sucks. Not to mention the Jets-Titans game, which will be much more exciting. Good luck to you guys, no kidding. I used to like the Titans when McNair was playing there but along about now I'd LOVE to see them eat dirt. This is why God invented tivo.

  3. Funny you should ask, it occurred to me too. Thing is, DB writes in complete sentences and uses way less disgusting language. However, it could very well be eddie, trying to stay on the site longer this time. If it is eddie, his true colors will show sooner rather than later. Good call there. Hey, and btw I'm happy for you, Angel and a couple of other guys who are Jets fans. That game last week was a heartbreaker for us but it was a really good game.

  4. Thanks man, I try

  5. I appreciate you reaching out and sharing your comments. I look forward to our paths crossing again. By the way, how do you get so many people to comment on your work. i have three articles and ZERO comments. Tips are appreciated -Lucky

  6. It's that time again. Prediction for Thursday's game?

    I'll go Pats 26, Jets 21.

  7. I'm actually glad we didn't let Favre loose today. It was Jones' turn! I was pretty anti-Jones the first half of the season, but this was his time. He's been asking for the ball with how he's been running, and he gave us a 5.1-yard average. Aside from that, Favre looks like he's been in pain since the Bengals game. It was good to let his arm rest today, this way we can ask him to go wild against New England.

I was at the game today, too. Section 119, Row 12. It was a great game to be at. I'll be at the Bills game next month.. Section 114, Row 18.

  8. Thanks for Posting my Packers articles that happen to include positive references to the Jets. Please continue with all my NFL bashing articles!

I think, since I disagree with the Packer Nation / Aaron Rodgers love affair, my stories have been better received my Jets fans desperate for something good from the NFL season.

Same Brett bt how many weeks in a row will he throw a pick returned for a TD? I say he's got one more next week left in him, then taking a break.

    Comment please.

  10. hey dude, sorry about that. You are right. I can never get used to the online format. I can't help but react. Doesn't seem to be a big deal in person. my apologies for the 'tude.

You know I had to throw some Jets in there, right? We gotta see some Gang Green representation in Honolulu this year. Let me know what you think.

  12. Yeah that game was amazing. I went with my parents and the only reason we stayed into the 4th quarter was because it was their anniversary or something and they wanted to watch the whole thing.

I would've never forgiven myself if we left early. But yeah I have season tickets, it's sweet.

And my favorite athlete overall right now might be All Day Adrian Peterson.

  13. Hey Bruce,

Sorry for the delay on the Green Room stuff. I'm between jobs right now, so we can get something sparked this week. I start a new place on the 20th, so I've got some time for two weeks.

Until then, I wrote a piece I'm particulary proud of. When you get a chance, I'd love your feedback:
