The Roundtable's Bio

Come on in! Grab a seat. Need a beer? That's what the Roundtable is about.

The name comes from our college hangout. There was one bar that knew us by name, always had an open table, and became the location of some great debates. Sure, some of them may have been about what song needed to be played on the jukebox, but the point remains. And it has really stuck. The Roundtable is where your friends gather to go over all sorts of topics. And the table always has an open seat.

You'll mainly see fantasy sports writing, concentrating on baseball and football. But there will be more than a few pieces on other topics that strike points of interest.

The Roundtable has a blog located at http://elmhurstpub.blogspot.com/

Thanks for checking us out, and be sure to tip your waitress.

  1. Thanks Roundtable on the ESPN tip! I'll probably continue to try and do Monday's & Thursday's when I have time... If you can continuously do every day, that's awesome. You say you and others, are you working as a team with other folks?

  2. And by Ron I meant Robert...I'm old

  3. Oh I loved it. Today has been a great day for comedy pieces. Ron Johnson wrote a fantastic piece about the creation of NFL stories. You should give it a look if you get a chance.

  4. That was just low.

Be prepared for my next article: "Fantasy Sports Geniuses Need To Go the Way of the Dodo"

  5. I just saw Zander's message.

Obviously that was a misunderstanding on my part. My deepest apologies to you gentlemen and I assure you that all future posts will be tagged accordingly.

  6. Hey Round Table,

So I noticed that a lot of your fantasy articles aren't officially tagged with "Fantasy". Just wanted to give you a heads up...when you have a chance, I'd recommend going through your archives and making sure that anything related to fantasy sports of anytime has an official "Fantasy" tag on it to maximize your exposure.

Please note that "Fantasy Sports" is NOT displayed on the Bleacher Report front page—going forward, always tag with "Fantasy" NOT "Fantasy Sports."

Please let me know if you have any questions about this. Thanks as always for all of your contributions!

    Zander

  7. Enjoy the fantasy articles, as I too am addicted to the sport of numbers (as opposed to sweat and tears)

Sorta wish the fantasy community was a bit bigger at the BP but what are u gunna do...

    keep in touch

  8. Appreciate the add, and yes, I do need a beer. Thank you for asking.

Keep up the great fantasy football writing.

  9. Thanks for the add, Mr. Table. (May I call you "Round"?) ;)

  10. I didn't want to gut your fantasy football article, so I'll just suggest to you a different format that allows for more spacing for the top-10 picks. They're a bit squished together at the moment. Other than that, it was your usual "A+" work.

  11. I just wrote my first article here, and for the love of God, I can't seem to link it to fantasy baseball, can you help me?

  12. Please check out my fantasy football article:
    http://bleacherreport.com/articles/41113-top-5-players-in-each-position-for-fantasy-football
Please tell me what you think about it. Criticism will be taken with open arms.

  13. So Roundtable, what's the update on the Bleacher Report experts fantasy league?

  14. Are you interested in joining my Bleacher Report football league on RotoHog? If so, please email me at wrongarm300@yahoo.com. I am trying to get as many Bleacher Report writers as possible so if you know anyone else that may be interested, have them contact me as well!! Let's make this huge and represent the Bleacher!!

  15. Got your message and sent you an email. Let me know what's up.
