Mike's Bio
Mr. Eagan's eclectic sporting interests are derived from the patchwork quilt that is his life. Descended of an Irish-Catholic, lawyer-breeding family from New Orleans, Eagan was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and graduated in 2005 from the University of Notre Dame du Lac in South Bend, IN. While studying in London during the Spring of 2004, Eagan acquired a taste for Premiership football and Westminster's finest pubs. He recently relocated from San Francisco to the hilly terrain of the Stanford University campus, where he is attending law school. Go figure.
Eagan has had the opportunity to have attended some very memorable sporting moments in his 25 years of life, including:
- Game 4 of the 1989 World Series (not the Earthquake game that would have been much cooler)
- Barry Bonds' 1st game/HR as a Giant, 1993
- 2000 Rose Bowl, Stanford vs. Wisconsin
- Game 5 of the 2002 World Series
- USC at ND, 2005
- 2007 Sugar Bowl, ND vs. LSU
- Barry Bonds' 756th HR, 2007

Mike, thanks for the pick of the day. I'm glad you got a chuckle out of my goofy article. :)

Thanks! I think I'm going to try to do those every game, they're fun. Your thoughts? And mini-kipper was the cutest kid ever, I wonder if he started crying though when they lost. What a cutie. He even had the fake red scruff goin' on!

Haha! Yeah, I'm trying to be patient. I'm going to be pissed though if he doesn't call me, because the whole reason why I wasn't put in their contest was because he just wanted me to write for him.
And I've got the biggest crush on Setoguchi. I try not to spread that around out of fear of not being taken seriously. But hey, I'm only human, haha!
I saw pretty much half the team when I went out for my birthday lunch, it was so funny. Ehrhoff came over and talked to me! And...Seto was sitting in the booth right next to me. And I saw a few checking me out (haha, I turned like five shades of red). Haaaapy birthday to me! :)

Oh, I definitely won't. I'm waiting for the call, I just got an e-mail from Eklund yesterday. Keep your fingers crossed!

Mike-
Good news! You might not have to read Mr.Garner's analysis anymore, as Eklund contacted me about writing for HockeyBuzz. So, we will see how that goes.
P.S. How bout those Sharks in the shootout??

Oh my god, at least somebody agrees with me. I left a reply to his last Marleau-related article, and he tried to come back at me with a "witty" response. It just makes me mad that someone who's so clueless about the team has that kind of exposure. Did you read the "article" that I'm talking about?

Hey, thanks again for your feedback! I felt like I had to add my two cents in at the end of my article. I was just too pissed off to not mention anything! I don't know if you read hockeybuzz, but that's pretty much what triggered my anger.
Go Sharks!

Hey thanks for putting that photo on to my article, it really added a little something to it!!

hey thanks i didn't know how to put up a picture that wasn't apart of the database

Hey,
Thanks for the comment and the add!
I agree about last night, it was kind of close at the end, but the Sharks pretty much dominated the Red Wings all night. I always get a sick feeling whenever a Detroit game comes up, but thankfully it wasn't an embarassing loss.
