Just a 40 something year old college football fan. I follow USC football in particular and the Pac-10 in general. I generally prefer the college game over the NFL simply due to the diversity of attacks on offense. On any given weekend I can watch Mike Leach's Air Raid Attack at Texas Tech, June Jones' Run 'N Shoot Offense, Urban Meyer and Rich Rodriquez style spread option run attacks, the triple option based examples of the service academies like Navy or Paul Johnson, and of course just plain old I Formation football. Can't wait for the college football season to arrive!
You can read odd stuff I write from time to time on http://www.trojanfootballanalysis.com if interested. I also coach and scout part time now assisting a friends football program.
I hope you know that if I ever become athletic director or general manager of any college or professional football team, your name is on my short list of coaches to hire.
Keep up the great articles, they're so fun to read!
Just wanted to introduce myself: I'm Zander Freund, one of the founders of Bleacher Report and the site's Community Director.
Your article on the Trojans' scoring decline was a major hit in the office (and obviously on the network itself)—excellent work my friend. We're working on building in better functionality for charts within articles, so lots to look forward to...
Speaking of which: how did you get all those charts and graphs in the article so cleanly? I get a lot of questions from our writers about best practices about how to go about including such, so any pointers would be super helpful!
Wanted to make sure you knew that if you have questions about the site or are looking to get more involved that you should feel free to get in touch with me directly. My email is email@example.com, happy to chat anytime.
Thanks again for the contribution. Keep the awesome stuff coming!
Hi there, Arthur,
I assume you and the Artt of Troy at WeAreSC are one and the same. I've always been a fan of AOT and now I'm of fan of yours. Have you posted this on the SC board yet?
Two of my favorite articles to date on the site. Really terrific stuff.
I sent both of them off to all of my buddies. Thanks for contributing.
Welcome to Bleacher Report. I just wanted to let you know that I really liked your piece on stats in football. I'm looking forward to your next article. Best,
