Brett's Bio

I am an avid sports fan with an emphasis on baseball and college basketball. I also have a strong interest in statistics and so I incorporate them into my articles frequently.

In college sports I am a fan of Penn State, Kentucky, Virginia, and Virginia Tech. I have several favorite pro teams but usually I pull for the underdogs. I have a personal blog which I plan on writing on periodically and then copying articles to here.

  1. Great! Go ahead and e-mail (kgreen.23@live.com) me your power rankings. I hope to have enough to start this week, but I got on this kind of late and may have to release after next week. We'll see how many responses I get!

    Kris

  2. Brett,

I'm looking for a group of Big Ten fans to vote in a Big Ten Power Poll. Would you be interested?

    Kristofer

  3. Brett,

Did you enjoy the game? It was great...the student section was extremely wild this week. Check out my new article:

    Thanks,
    Isaac

  4. Being the numbers guru you are, thought you might enjoy this fantasy basketball league:

  6. Ben Luber's that basketball player, right? On Penn State? A lot of people ask me that. Sorry, I'm not. I am related to Matt Luber, my oldest brother, who is in a parternship movie company and is a manager of many actors, if you know anyone in show business.

  7. No problem!

  8. Sure thing Brett!

  9. No problem Brett. It's good to see some college hoops articles!

  10. It's nice to see the two of us are going to completely dominate the CBB page for the next couple weeks.

  11. Hey Brett, UK released their basketball schedule yesterday. Here's a link:

  12. Brett, I have to tell you that I laughed out loud when I read your latest article concerning College Basketball. Naturally I consider it one of the great articles ever written by anyone and I completely agree with your conclusion. All articles portraying Duke #1 should be considered masterpieces.

Now, here is what I've noticed in reviewing other articles. We need to encourage good thoughts and help others understand what is trying to be said. There are entirely too many quasi-flamers blowing through B/R with acid drenched articles designed to get a rise out of a number of readers. This is not mature writing. Your last 4 articles deal with different issues, Pro-retirement, college prestige and champions, & Baseball. This is superior work. Your thoughts are logical and presented fairly and clearly. I've been reading what you write since I joined the Bleacher Report, you produce good work.

With your permission, I'd like to help in anyway that I can ans also communicate with you through your email address so more can be said privately. Yoou just let me know.

  13. Very good article, thanks for your note.

  14. As Tim mentioned below, we're unable to include two author's names in one piece at this time.

That said, this is a feature that is definitely in the works and we believe will add a lot of value to the Community...so glad we're on the same page about that!

For now, if you write a Round Table with more than one author just create a group name account and publish it under that. Let me know if you need help with this and I can walk you through it.

    Thanks as always Brett,
    Zander

  15. I think you have to set up a new account to have more than one author. So the article wouldn't really be credited to either writer but rather the new account name.

That said, I've never tried to do that, so it might be worth it to ask around.
