Very cool. We can swap stories/lies along the way.

I think anyone who has had the slightest involvement with Chefs/staff has had their lives enriched in some way...either "I wanna be him" or "Thank God I'm not him"...sometimes both at the same time.

Speaking of Chefs, I have gone back to college. I signed the papers on Monday but I have to work there a year before that free tuition kicks in.

I'll be a 54 year old freshman, class of '14. (Jesus cripes, what was I thinking)

not a problem. I'm here for the same reason as everybody else, but when I read articles...i try to be as open minded as possible and not pass judgement...and if you want to see some well written articles, be sure to check out 'our end' of the page (seriously....we're the last 'sport' on the list); and while I may not put out that many articles...they're usually fairly long and allot of thought and research is put into them (I've been a pro wrestling fan my whole life, so I've got allot of knowledge stored up already) and they're really well written articles.

Thanks for the heads up on your article. I thought it was great! I know you specifically did not ask for my criticism...so here it is.

I think you might get more readers if you change the photo from Shakespeare to some wildman wrestler screaming into a microphone. It would create a nice dichotomy between the headline and photo, but it also is the point you draw out in your article: specifically, that the crazy microphone talk and backstory in wrestling is what is so appealing to fans. Just my 2.7 cents (with inflation).

Journalism is about having thoughts and opinions. But you put the notion that Anderson Silva being at a competitors show was something out of the ordinary. It is not. It happens all the time, and Dana White has never said anything about it. You asked if he can't recognize a major fight, thats a problem since there isn't a fight. Dana White has no worries about his fighters being at other shows.

I disagreed with you about that point long before the crap hit the fan. If you feel I thru you under the bus I apoligize. It is my opinion that your article hurt the credibility of BR. You never mentioned anything about WAMMA in your article. When Caplan entered the scene so did WAMMA. I'm not a WAMMA supporter but I do disagree with your article. Call me what you will.

As far as WAMMA is concerned I think they will do their thing and the UFC will do it's thing. If the UFC decides it wants to join WAMMA then so be it, if not they have have the largest stable of talent in MMA. There is nothing that WAMMA can do to change their mind. It's just like any other belt, Jake shields has the EliteXC belt but I know GSP is the better fighter. I don't need a unified belt for that.

I wish nothing but the best for you Mr. Morris, and I hope you continue to write.

Thanks for answering those poll questions.
I agree with you. I love to watch Tiger Woods out there literally making history right in front of our eyes because I think we have been given a rare opportunity to see possibly the greatest player to ever play the game but I probably enjoy watching an exciting finish even more. There's nothing exciting about watching a guy run away with a tournament. That's what made the US Open so exciting, not only was Tiger Woods involved (and the theatre that inevitably comes along with that) but it was also a very close finish.

I can kinda sorta see where B/R is coming from but I don't necessarily know how it's offensive--it seems like commentary on current broadcast TV practices--nonetheless, the article was stellar without the line. Just a very clever take on CBS' sub-par coverage.

I'm not an MMA guy, but I tuned in to so I could see what CBS planned to do with it. It didn't take long to figure out that they were in over their heads.

There's been a lot of talk about Sergio which is exactly why I don't think he'll win. He seems to crack under pressure on the greens and being the frontrunner this week, it has just added even more pressure onto his back.

Hi again. I wrote an article although I have no idea if it will help influence your wife or not. My daughter-in-law loves the sport, so we don't have any problems getting her to watch, and I can't even comprehend anyone NOT wanting to watch, so I am kind of limited too. Anyway, good luck. Hi J. Michael! Did you know that Bradley University once had a football team? I wouldn't have known this if it had not been written off the year I graduated (1968) in favor of Basketball. Sad, isn'yt it? I had to wait until my sons were old enough to play JFL and HS football to learn the rules. Before MMA I did warch football. I liked "Broadway Joe Namath," Dated, huh?
