A native of Overland Park, Kan., Andrew has seen his fair share of sporting events in his time and has always had aspiration of becoming a sportswriter.
Currently, Andrew is a junior, studying news-editorial journalism at Western Kentucky University.
Since being at Western in the fall of 2006 Andrew has worked for the College Heights Herald covering everything from swimming and diving, volleyball, softball and men's basketball. He also covered the Toppers in the 2008 NCAA Tournament.
Currently Andrew is the sports editor and sports columnist at the Herald.
He also has plenty of memorable sporting events that he has attended including three Big 12 Football Championships, Jon Lester's no-hitter at Fenway in 2008, the 2008 NCAA Tournament and Western's Kentucky's dramatic victory over Drake.
Andrew hopes to bring insight to numerous topics on Bleacher Report.
I tried to write about baseball. How bad is it?
I just wanted to let you know that Bleacher Report has launched out of beta with an updated look and feel and some great new features. Check out the "Game On" link in the header to find out more.
Next week we'll be launching the site to the world with some public announcements—and it'd be great to get a contribution from you between now and Tuesday to make Bleacher Report's launch a success.
Let me know if you need any help with ideas or have questions. Have a great weekend Andrew!
