Eric's Bio

Hi, I'm Eric Gomez. Currently, I'm a Television, Film and New Media Major attending San Diego State University in (you guessed it) San Diego, California. Aside from writing and enjoying sports, I design websites in my spare time and wonder why the San Diego Padres haven't had a pitcher throw a no-hitter or a batter hit for the cycle.

I'm a co-Community Leader for the San Diego Chargers section on B/R, as well as the Community Leader for the San Diego Padres. If you have any questions, comments, suggestions or anything else basically, be sure to leave a note on my profile or e-mail me at:

  6. I figured you'd throw a topic like this at me. Remember the article you wrote about how the CONCACAF Champs' League was terrible? I agreed with pretty much the whole thing...

Guess it's time to start brainstorming.

  7. Eric,

  8. yo E, I know you don't write wrestling but because of your Pele/Maradona piece, I got with another wrestling writer to do a Creature v. Creature. If you do know something about wrestling, check it out:

  9. Eric, here's the roundtable question. Send your response to the usual place.

David Beckham moving to Milan on loan for the second half of the Serie A season raises a lot of questions. Is this good for his career? How will he affect the squad at AC Milan? How will this affect MLS and the LA Galaxy? Don't hold back. This is big news for MLS and there's no need for us to keep it brief.

  10. Eric,

Congrats to you too! I've been trying to come up with some ideas for the community, but, have been drawing a blank. Work has been most of why I have not come up with anything.

Just read the article about the refs, good read.

  11. Just a note to all community leaders. I'm trying to collect e-mails. I have most of them from when we did the awards, but If it's changed since then, or you are new to the team, make sure we're cool on the e-mail.

With Free Agency starting tomorrow, we should probably be thinking offseason plans. I encourage everyone to put up some sort of preview for their own team. Highlight some needs, maybe look at who your team has on the market, or potential targets. If enough people get in on it, I'll post a collective article to highlight everyone's work.

If your a new community leader, welcome aboard. If you've been around, make sure you go around, become a fan of some of the other CL's and support each other. We're a team here!

    -Nino

Eric, Rory got me your e-mail so we're good there. Just wanted to say welcome to the team and to keep up the great work.
