Andrew's Bio

To the left is a picture of me as I hiked back up the Grand Canyon after hiking down to Phantom Ranch that same morning. Me and my dad hiked down the Bright Angel Trail, and up the Kaibab Trail.

Currently in high school, I run cross-country and track (one-mile and two-mile). I have a deep love for all Minnesota sports, but I have a deeper love for my Creator, Jesus Christ. I hope to bring you entertaining and relevant articles while I rant on whichever Minnesota sport happens to be struggling.

I recently came closer to Mexico when I moved to Tucson, Arizona, but moved farther away from my Minnesota sports.

No, I don't limit my interests to Minnesota sports. I love all sports, but I tend to gravitate towards the NFL. I will try to find peace with Arizona fans and maybe pick up a team or three.

I may have to see someone about this, but I almost enjoy the NFL off-season better than the regular season...

...maybe it's something in the 100-degree-at-8-am-air...(but don't worry, it's a dry heat)...

I love to come home on Sunday to three football games, then another on Monday. A birthday suggestion of mine would be MLB.TV.

I was also asked to blog the Twins at TwinsFix.com. I really enjoy doing that daily, so drop by and tell me what you think!

I am one of the Minnesota Twins Community Leaders here on Bleacher Report, in addition to being one of the NFL Community Leaders. Feel free to drop me a line if you want!

On a side note, I was the feature story on SI's Campus Clicks for July 22nd, 2008. Here's the link:

I also write a blog called Primary Focus.

  5. Hey Andrew,

Was wondering if you could check out my latest piece on NFL Coach of the Year. Just to get a Community Leader's standpoint.

  6. Just a note to all community leaders. I'm trying to collect e-mails. I have most of them from when we did the awards, but If it's changed since then, or you are new to the team, make sure we're cool on the e-mail.

With Free Agency starting tomorrow, we should probably be thinking offseason plans. I encourage everyone to put up some sort of preview for their own team. Highlight some needs, maybe look at who your team has on the market, or potential targets. If enough people get in on it, I'll post a collective article to highlight everyone's work.

If your a new community leader, welcome aboard. If you've been around, make sure you go around, become a fan of some of the other CL's and support each other. We're a team here!

    -Nino

    We're good on e-mails Andrew.

  7. Hey Andrew, it's been a while since I've written anything, I've gotten back on the horse though. Check out my latest article for the All-NBA Contest.

  8. Andrew, take a look at what some of us writers have done in the NFC North. Trying to get some good placement.

  9. I hate "whoring" my articles, but I'd love for you to check this out Andrew—

  10. andrew,

it took me two tries (first draft was erased) but here are my week ten letters, if you're interested:

    thanks!

  11. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/80744-nfl-referees-arent-just-blowing-their-whistles

Am I the only one who thinks NFL referees are blowing it this season?

  12. yeah frerotte just ran into the bet pass defense in the league is all. and since they're one of the worst rushing defenses, it might be tempting to think that the pass defense is good because no one has to pass on them, but that's not the case; they have playmakers back there. regardless, it's a big weekend coming up for the old NFC Central: 'Sota and the Bucs and Green Bay-Chicago. best of luck!

  13. i can't deny that the packers got dominated, but shouldn't it be troubling that the packers still had a chance to win the game despite almost 200 rushing yards from adrian peterson? mason crosby makes that kick probably 8 times out of 10, especially in a controlled setting like a metrodome.

  14. I know you hate the bb advertising...so I won't do it again for a while. Sorry.

I scored an interview with Raiders owner Al Davis. How cool is that?

    http://bleacherreport.com/articles/80802-at-the-cabana-an-interview-with-raiders-owner-al-davis

(PS you do need to see someone about liking the NFL off season more than the regular season, how can anybody like something that opens the door to MORE Tony Kornheiser?)

  15. If you run.. you might appreciate this:
