Pete's Bio
Hi I'm Pete and I live in Bedfordshire, UK.
I've been a Chelsea Football Club fan since 1970 and fell in love with American Football when my sister took me to a game at RAF Chicksands between the Fighting Chicks and the Mildenhall Marauders. My first introduction to the NFL was Superbowl XVIII (January 1984). There was only one team to follow after that, however it has proved a rocky road to follow since.
I have had the privilage of witnessing the Raiders play first hand when they visited Wembley to play the Saints in 1990 but have never seen a game in the States. Maybe one day...

Thanks for the note Pete. That is CRAZY isn't it? It really is a small world. Thanks again and since you are obviously a quality individual I will express my hope that you and those who share your affection for the Raiders (like myself) are rewarded with a decent team soon.
Good Luck,
Rick

Sorry for the late reply for the note, Pete.
Once again, I would like to thank u for ur support all the way from the good, old Uniited Kingdom! (I have cousin who studied in Manchester)
Happy to keep u informed about all the latest happenings.
If u didnt know already,
1.) We burned the Chiefs for over 300 yards rushing in week 2
2.) Our defense fell in the final seconds only to lose to the Bills in a game we should have had if not for Rob Ryan's pathetic fourth quarter play calling.
If anything that game only showed how far this team can go. Remeber that Bills team beat Division champs Seattle and highly touted AFC contenders Jaguars both in consecutive weeks. In came the Raiders who controlled the game for all three quarters to only lose due to a 4th quarter meltdown of the defense.
Love ur passion for Oakland man!

Thanks for your reply on Capello. Was wondering how restless the natives are, seems not too much. For now. Loved your comments on his predecessor's.
Today's Raider game helped, but now I'm bumming over Fargas's injury. Hamstrings are not a good thing for runners to tweak.
Congrats on Chelsea's win over Man City. Big Phil is a fantastic coach and will have 'em in contention all the way in both Premiership and Champs. League.

Don't worry much about Mike49er...he's known around here as a troll, mostly annoying people. We figure enough people complain to the owners about him, they'll ban him. Either that, or just ignore him, and then laugh at him when the 49ers get killed.
