  1. Sounds like a plan Jonathan—I'll keep an eye out for it!

  2. Hey Jonathan,

Not sure about the NASCAR thing, but I'm happy to check out your Fox Sports piece. I start editing Monday morning at 6 am Pacific—would that be soon enough, do you think?

    Mosang

  3. Yeah you can spend hours on Ken Pomeroy's site looking up anything and everything. Here's an example of something I've done based on his stats: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/38488-syracuse-why-college-basketball-is-changing-and-why-the-orange-will-benefit

  4. I have a folder of about 15 websites I've got book marked that I read or check out daily looking for trends. The four most helpful are stormingthefloor.net rushthecourt.wordpress.com kenpom.com and realtimerpi.com

Ken Pomeroy's site has incredible statistics you'll find nowhere else.

I wanted to do the weekend and had the offer, but I don't know if I'd really have the time to do it. My advice would be each night in a word document just write down the scores of games that are important, look for OT games, and one possession games and just check the recap to see if it was a buzzer beater to win the game. ESPN.com's score page provides the top scorer from each team which is an easy way to pick players of the night if you want to do that.

  5. Your Big East bliss article just went up on http://www.nunesmagician.com/ which is a big time Syracuse blog that gets 2500+ hits per day.

I'm pissed on my thing on Fox sports I messed up where Wake Forest is and someone called me on it two minutes after it went up on the site and I have no way to fix it.

I'm all about the stats, just wait til I start to dabble in efficiency and non-tempo based statistics. It shall blow your mind what I can come up with haha.

  6. Yeah I'll let you know when I do a roundtable. I'm guessing first one will be after all the Holiday Tournaments so we can all sit back and assess what the hell happened over Thanksgiving break while we stuffed our faces.

  7. My pleasure Jonathan—always glad to help!

  8. My labtop crashed and I am currently waiting on a new one. It will probably be a week or so before I get it.

  9. Hey Jonathan

Just wanted to give you a heads up about doing a Big East round table shortly after the Thanksgiving weekend.

If you're interested, please email me at abishop@saintmarys.edu and I'll get back to you with more details.

Hope you decide to join in!

    Tony

  10. hey bro, anyway you can check out my new article edit it a bit

  11. This wasn't a spam message, I sent it to a select list of people. You can write whatever you like about College Basketball from rankings, to injuries, to teams, to the players, whatever you want to write. Please email me at reebokforthree@aol.com so we can talk more. It is a voluntarily job right now.

  12. Hey Johnathon, I saw your articles and I think they are great; and I would like to give you an offer for writing for LayupDrill.com for specifically College Basketball. News, updates, injuries, predictions, rankings, and everything in between. Check out the website and get back to me at reebokforthree@aol.com or just post me a comment on my profile.

    Brandon.

  13. definitely.... sorry for the delayed response. I've been extremely busy. just get back at me whenever you get the chance.

  14. Not a problem Jonathan. Sadly, I don't know actually know much about T-Will, but he definitely is continuing the legacy of talented Seattle stars.
