SportMonk's Bio
I'm a junior at the University of Nebraska, majoring in news-editorial journalism with an emphasis on sports writing/editing. I'm on the sports desk of the Daily Nebraskan, the campus paper. I'd like to one day write for The Oklahoman (and turn the pape to national prestige) and get big enough to work for ESPN.
Westboro Baptist has been protesting at Nebraska games this season, condemning the state with claims that Memorial Stadium is a temple for the worship of its gods, the Huskers. This caused me to think: If sports is my religion and athletes are my gods, I must be a monk.

Hey Monk,
Looks like someone already got to your article...which, to be honest, I'm happy about. I'm glad to edit your stuff, but I don't know if I could bring myself to edit an article about the Thunder (just saying the name makes me cringe), much less any piece involving the NBA. Sorry man—I'll edit anything else, but when it comes to pro hoops, you're on your own...

Ha. I see I'm not the only one your addicted to reading and annoying about writing more articles. :)
You are definitely right about that. While I would love to see Texas Tech vs. Alabama in the National Championship game I don't know that it will happen. A Big 12 school with their offense against Alabama with their defense and offense could be an interesting game. Honestly, Florida is very much an offensive and defensive team like Alabama which is why I think the SEC Championship game will be such a good one to watch.
I honestly can't remember what all your post said now that I have gotten over here to your board. So I will close in that I am anxiously awaiting your next article. (No doubt about the Huskers I assume). Ha.

Naw, man.. me not much of an article writer.
Might write one if I'm in the mood. I look at B/R as more like a forum or thread to discuss CFB.
You keep up the good work though!
