Bert's Bio
Like many of you, I'm a college football fanatic in general, with my specific team (Texas Longhorns) close to heart. Even so, due to that passion for the national scene, I find myself very enthused about all teams.
Regarding that love of the Longhorns, I have written for Inside Texas, a Scout.com affiliate publication, for five-plus years, as well as previously being the lead writer at "Mighty Horns," one of the very first independent Longhorn-related web sites in existence. I've additionally owned a couple of my own sites devoted to the national college scene. (as you can tell, I love my college football!)
Additional interests include physical fitness, self-improvement books, Christian-related studies, and old school music and movies. (naturally, that old school stuff includes the sports realm).

Thanks for taking the time to read and comment on last week's Carrying On...here's the latest edition:

Bert,
I always appreciate when a writer asks for clarification, so thanks for asking.
Site style dictates that it should be "No. #." Additionally, it should always be the numeral when preceded by "No." and never written out, even if it is a number from one through nine.
Hope this clears it up. If you ever have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask, and if you're looking for a quick answer, the site's style guide can be found here: http://bleacherreport.com/pages/styleguide

Hey nice to hear from an old time Baylor fan. Most people today don't remember Baylor's "good old days". Some people know about the A&M-Baylor rivalry, but not many know that it is one of the more lopsided rivalries in college football-- for Baylor. Anyway, I'll be interested to see how Texas does when they hit the meat of their schedule. I hear they've got a shot this year...

No problem Bert. I agree, in that context "that" is more personal choice...and since it's your article, it's ultimately your choice! I guess I was trying to create more clarity, but I think your sentence can be understood with or without "that."
And yes, you're definitely getting there. Barely any edits on that last piece!
