I joined Bleacher Report to write about fantasy football because I love the topic. I love how becoming a better fantasy football player can make you a better decision maker in life. I love that a silly game can make NFC West football watchable again.

I love that I've been able to help people out in my own small way. It may not be much, but it's a contribution.

ok quick take on this week! denver defense sucks! new q/b for cleveland cutler could have a big day but not a strog game for me, denver reeally needs the win which sways me enough to take the bronco s!
brett favre very conservative last week! not in his nature! big passing day against rams coming up!

Chicago s defense is calling out to me. worried about grossman production. like matt forte at home!!
think the defense will hold tennessee down and chicago gives them their 1st loss! too many close calls for tennessee due to lose one. chicago

detroit jacksonville funny /game. can the jags lose two in a row to winless teams. detoit is improving! This may be their week at home. detoit to win by 3 -4 points.
miamim s defense should be right onn this week running game should be very good against seattle.

houston/baltimore very tough pick. matt schaub seems to do weel last 3 games a t home, reciever is good. can t remember his name though! lol. the good one they have! baltimore defense ?is it good against the pass? that should be key. i know they are good against the run!
take green bay in a close game in minnesota. peterson is dangerous! need a good game by rodgers!
good quarterbqacks in atlanta this weekend. only taking atlanta cause they are home new orleans worries me! i may switch this game! yes i think i ll take the saints! ah hell i don t know about this one. a leave alone game to bet! everytime i switch a game i lose. ok falcons! lol

Caroloina a good play with their offense del homme good day steve smith due for one of those monster games carolina big time here!

san diego rested L.t. good runnibg back play rivers good q/b play san diego defense at home should be good too, no way K C. wins this game!!!

phila delphia giants look for defensive battle. westbrook and mcnabb when healthy can beat anyone!! philly in a mild upset here. giants are not unbeatable, hell cleveland beat them!

and finally big day for warner at home against 49ers. i m a 49 er fan but this is hopeless. cardinals have been dominating niners for 3-4 seasons now i believe! they always kill me when i take my niners through the last several years as i remenber. learned my lesson! arizona by 10 warner good play!!! there s some of my feelings

worrysome games are baltimore houston atlanta new orleans going out on a limb taking detroit and chicago a little chancy with grossman but im sticking to my ist instincts this week. no switches!!

Understandable. And I'm not trying to hide my affiliation...just trying to spread the word. I truly believe this is something that will revolutionize fantasy sports. So far, it has been met with huge interest and I think it will continue to do so (even if I'm biased). Tell me what you think if you do decide to sign up and play around on it.

I was hired as the content editor at the beginning of August. Unfortunately, that prevents me from trading but I was able to before we launched on Oct. 1 as part of a private beta group and it was so much fun. I'm almost glad I'm banned from participating because it would be too addicting. At least with fantasy sports, you get a break in between seasons. But I've been posting around on B/R because I know that a ton of the readers would be interested in something like this.

No, there are no secondary offerings. It's actually really smart the way they designed the site: if a SOI ends the trading day above $20, then there is an automatic split; if a SOI ends the trading day below $0.50, there is an automatic reverse split. This way, someone with a smaller account size doesn't have to pay $100 for one share of AIRJ, KOBE or KING and the system automatically balances out supply and demand since if someone has one share of AIRJ that is trading at $30, if they then get 2 shares of AIRJ at $15, it creates more supply and allows them to still sell some AIRJ without giving up their entire interest in that SOI.

You've got the gist of it. There is no intrinsic value in the SOIs (shares) but they have value in the same way that baseball cards and items on Second Life do. The market totals are accurate (amazing, I know) and will only get bigger because word of mouth is doing wonders for the site. Plus, with articles coming out in TIME magazine and the WSJ in the next week, more people will be flocking there soon. It is totally market based, so supply and demand determine the value, but there is clearly a demand (just look at AIRJ's share price since he was IPOd for an idea of what people are valuing these shares at).
