Jay has yet to fill out a bio.
I just wanted to let you know that Bleacher Report has launched out of beta with an updated look and feel and some great new features. Check out the "Game On" link in the header to find out more.
Next week we'll be launching the site to the world with some public announcements—and it'd be great to get a contribution from you between now and Tuesday to make Bleacher Report's launch a success.
Let me know if you need any help with ideas or have questions. Have a great weekend Jonathan!
Not so much the sleep deprivation as drinking with some mates out on the town! I caught bits of the last set but was nowhere near a computer to write about it, sadly. I was disappointed because I love Fed but I really wasn't surprised. Djokovic has been building beautifully for 12 months and it was well and truly his time. Plus, Fed's preparation has been appalling. No warm-up tournaments and effectively three months out of competitive tennis, if you don't include his exhibitions with Sampras (which you shouldn't). But he's been so good for so long I think he had us all convinced he could overcome anything. I agree it's going to be a struggle for him but from memory I think he's only 25 - maybe 26 - so I still think he'll beat Sampras eventually. Probably got another four slams in him I think. At least two Wimbledons and a US and Australian. As for the Grand Slam though, no chance. You're right, a new wave is coming through.
Hi Jonathan, and thanks for the feedback. You're right, an amazing 24 hours of tennis. I only caught snippets of the Blake match but coming from two sets and two breaks down against a guy like Grosjean is truly amazing. The Hewitt-Baghdatis match was something else as well. I could use a few straight setters now though - the sleep deprivation is killing me!
