Hey there!

A little bit about myself ...
Montreal, QC, Canada. 20. 21 in late December. University. Graduating next year. A hockey fan, a Montreal Canadiens fan. A winter fan, for snowboard. A summer fan ... just for the summer.
Sports in general, I do follow. Behind hockey, a little bit of everything.

Anything you need, drop a line on my board, or on Matt Eichel's board. Matt is the other Canadiens community leader.
Comments, discussions, debates are also very welcomed aboard! Any team. Any sport. Any player. Even just everyday things.

Or email me, miah.elodie@gmail.com

So here's to Bleacher Report, and here's to all of you,

Looking forward to chat with you,
lots of love,
Miah ;)

  1. No wonder we get along so good ;)!

  2. You're too modest. The poem was excellent. ;)

Hey, when in December is your bday? Mine is Dec. 24

  3. It was great Miah! Do more poems!

I was thinking of doing one a few weeks ago. Just didn't do it though.

  4. My dear Miah -

It was so kind of you to acknowledge me at the end of your lovely poem. I am truly touched.

When speaking to others and trying to expand our base, I speak of you and Baby Tate in the college football community as two good friends I have made from the other side of the continent. The comradeship and respect is palatable, a positive example of correspondence via the internet of sporting fans.

To think what I wrote could inspire another to write something so lovely gives me such an incredible feeling words are inadequate to properly describe.

    ***

I must say in all truthfulness that I have done what you say can not in the third stanza. While sitting near the ice at the LA Forum, I got the attention of a certain ref known for donut eating. Warming up for the third period I let him know with great effect that he missed a too many on the ice call which resulted in a goal against the Kings. I also mentioned he would get fined for the offense.

His head snapped up and he glared at me, which made me a very happy camper indeed. On his next turn around the ice, he was still staring daggers, and I reiterated the accuracy of my statement and asked that he think of me when he looked at his next paycheck.

Just wanted to share that little story with you.

    All the best!

    J.C.

  9. Good game tonight eh? Pacioretty is really something.

Finally got internet here. Good to go for the season!

  10. Well you could always get a bike...but it'd probably be kind of cold riding a bike in Canada all winter!

  11. I just had a bowl of Cherry Nut that was delicious!

I'm going to have to buy a few cartons, especially if the Thrashers aren't any good.

  12. Ha! ;)

    Mint chocolate chip?

  13. I'll definitely be doing that. I'm getting a little excited! I hope the Thrashers are good this year.

  14. When does the season start?

I already have my Thrashers' jersey ready. I guess I should start studying a little so I can join you in the hockey community here on b/r.

  15. I had a good weekend too. I live in Georgia, and it's still about 90 degrees during the day!

I see you've written your 100th article! Congrats!
