Travis's Bio

My name is Travis Rand and I am currently a Senior attending Portland High School. I have lived in Maine for most of my life but my sports background comes from New York, the state I was born in. I have a large family and it makes it even more enjoyable on sunday's, when the pigskin is on. I am looking forward to a career hopefully in Sports Journalism and am working hard to perfect my writing skills.

I personally feel the Bleacher Report is one of the coolest websites I have ever seen. It is extremely rewarding to aspiring writers like myself and I am grateful for the oppurtunity to have my own work read and critiqued.

I am currently the #2 Writer for the New York Giants and had one of my articles featured on CBSsports.com, which was quite an honor.

Becoming one of three community leaders for the New York Giants was a tremendous honor of mine and I will have an extremely open mind for anyone who would like to offer suggestions to myself, David, or Michael.
