Jon's Lineup
Jon's Bio
There are two things my world rotates around (besides my wife), the first being sports. Growing up in Houston, my favorite team has always been the Astros. My first baseball game I can remember, is my grandfather taking me to see Mike Scott in 1986 throw a no-hitter to clinch the Division. Another one of my sports loves is fantasy baseball. Basically, it's the only way I can get close enough to running my own MLB team.
The second part of my life evolves around music. After graduating from Full Sail in Orlando, FL with a recording arts degree, I went onto New York to work for Philip Glass in his Looking Glass Studios. Working on projects for the Dalai Lama, Richard Gere, Philip Glass, and being near stars such as David Bowie was an eye opening experience for me. I later brought my talents back to Houston to work on tv projects for Destiny's Child and the Latin sensation, Negami. For now, you will only find me playing for The Favorites (www.thefavoritesrock.com).

You're right, "Jonny the Stank-Engine"...Train-related nicknames should be an inalienable right for all men, and it's about time we took steps to make that so.
If Jon happens to be short for "Jonas," or even if it's not, that might have a better ring to it.
