Jeremy's Bio
Jeremy Scott is the writer and webmaster for MentalGolfGuru.com. His blog talks about all things related to golf, and caters as much to the weekend duffer as to the hardcore PGA fan.
Jeremy also enjoys watching and writing about the NFL and the NHL, as well as a variety of other sports. Typically there is more than an ounce of sarcasm or humor in his articles, so you should take what he says with at least one grain of salt--maybe more.
Jeremy enjoys bananas, hates spiders, and is therefore very conflicted on the subject of banana spiders.

The Short List facts and information about Jeremy Scott
Favorite Athletes
Cal Ripken, Peyton Manning, Tiger Woods, Reggie Miller, anyone from the Nashville Predators (my hockey team of choice), and also Shaq. Oh, wait a minute. Not Shaq. That guy's ridiculous.
Favorite Sports Teams
Colts, Titans, Predators, Pacers, Indiana Hoosiers (NCAA), Baltimore Orioles, Vanderbilt basketball, oh--and San Dimas High School Football (which rules).
All Time Sports Moment
Geez, this is impossible. Let's see... Ripken's farewell tour of home runs and breaking the iron man record. The Colts Super Bowl last year. The Tiger Woods shot at the Masters a few years back--the impossible chip-in on the 16th hole. The O's winning the World Series in '83. I have pretty vivid memories of some of Reggie Jackson's home runs, and Kirk Gibson's big one. Who can forget that Red Sox run in 2004?
Most Memorable Game Attended
Attended? Sheesh, now you make me look like a shlub. Here's where I'm outed as the barely-middle-class sports fan who can't afford to go to many games. Let's see... The Predators' first home playoff game... that was huge. I went to some Orioles' regular season games during the World Series Run. Most of the games I have attended have been average and bland--Oooh, I was at a Predators game the day of the Music City Miracle...does that count?
Most Unbreakable Sports Record
Easy. Cal Ripken's consecutive games started.
Ruth or Mays?
How do I choose between two things I'm too young to remember? It's like choosing between Benny Hill and Hee Haw. I have no frame of reference. So... I'll go with Ruth. We're choosing our favorite Biblical heroine, right?
Unitas or Montana?
Wow. More choosing. Ummm Montana. He has the flawless Super Bowl record and I actually got to see him play. Tempting to pick Unitas, though, with the Colts connection. But I'm going Montana. Plus, it's a fine state to visit.
Pele or Maradona?
Soccer now? Sheesh. Next you'll be asking me to pick my favorite WNBA player. Ummm, can't I choose Beckham? I at least know what he looks like. I'll go with Pele. His name is shorter and easier to pronounce.
Pac 10, Big 12, Big 10, SEC, ACC, or Big East?
Big Ten, but not because I really care. Just because I grew up in Indiana, so I have the most memories and association with that conference. I wish I cared enough to write some terribly witty response to this question.
