I'm a Communications/Sports Journalism and English Major at Springfield College in Massachusetts. I love to write, enjoy watching or discussing any sport, and can't get enough of baseball. If I'm doing anything involving baseball, chances are there's a smile on my face. I'm very spontaneous, couldn't ever see myself working a 9-5, and figured pursuing a career as a sports journalist would have me working in different places at different times. Not to mention, who wouldn't want to get paid to go sit front row at a Sox-Yanks game in late September?

Hey John,
I'm hoping you'll check out my latest article about China, the Olympic games, protests, and our own responses to these current events. I'm making a concerted effort to reach out to people who have added me as a "favorite writer" to attempt to spark a discussion which affects us as sports fans and supporters of a forum for free-speech. Thanks Johnny B. I appreciate the comment. You know who influenced my lead? The one and only Marty Dobrow, haha. The raisin's one, I figured starting with something seemingly unrelated was a page out of his book.
