  1. Great write on the sandlot days of yesterday! Just watched that movie on demand - talk about changes. Though I played country ball in the 70s and 80s, and not on a sandlot-every old player/fan can relate. It was about what glove you had, and trading cards - Not For Sale. I made some minor edits for style..spacing and entering paragraphs for look and readability. Change it back if you like. Again, I enjoyed the read and thank you for the trip dowm memory lane. You could have shared more about those games-who did you call to be, how many kids played, how often was it etc. I rated it tops in my book though. THanks again!
