Becky Holland is a features writer for several weekly newspapers in the middle Georgia area. She was once the Features and Sports Editor for The Cochran Journal, and Features Writer and Technology Director of The Times Journal. Currenly employed by the Department of Labor in Georgia, Holland is recognized as a Volunteer Services Chaplain with the Southern Baptist Convention/North American Mission Board, a volunteer with The Reading Buddy program of Dodge School System and at The Christian Life Center. She was employed as a football recruiting assistant, game day staff for The Middle Georgia College Warriors and The University of West Alabama Tigers under Coach Randy Pippin. She enjoys church, learning Spanish, reading, writing, collegiate sports, watching other people cook and her family. Holland lives with her 4 year old canine companion(Lhasa Apso) named Rufus.
