Utah born and raised and yet my sports fanship runs from Miami to Chicago thru Denver and back to Salt Lake and Provo. I played baseball in high school and college and am partial to that sport, however, I love pretty much all sports and games. I live for competition. Nothing is more exciting than proving yourself better than the other guy. I am a father of four little ones and husband to what I consider the most beautiful girl in the world. GO JAZZ, COUGARS, DOLPHINS, BEARS, CUBS, and ROCKIES.

Hello everyone my name is Shanette and I live in Salt Lake City, I think the third person dealio is a little vain so I will not partake in it, otherwise I am really entertained at times with NBA basketball, I know all of the players and teams and everything, I got Jordans rookie and I sport Jordans on occasion too...

The only other sports I really know much more about is poker and UFC fighting, I have always been surrounded by the Utah football scene which is pretty cutthroatish if you ask me, I only want the Utes to win because they rep the lake, like the Jazz, BYU sucks forever and all the other football teams are weak...and we dont even play in a qualifying conference, which is stupid, at least the Jazz are eligible to win it all.

I dont care about becoming a writer or anythin...

Writer bio

I'm a 27 year old college student and a lifelong fan of the NBA. I followed a fellow message board writer over here and decided to see what insight I could contribute over here. I'm a huge Jazz fan, and most of my articles will be about the team I love, but I may branch out into other things as I look around the league.

I am a Senior at a small college in the beautiful mountains of east Tennessee. I love sports! I am a die hard fan of the Chicago Bulls, the Cleveland Indians, the Cleveland Browns and the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Throughout my life my teams have disappointed me (with the exception of the Bulls back when I was really young) and left me feeling no hope at the end of the season. Hopefully before I die I will witness a championship victory for all of my teams so that Ohio can no longer be the place where sports teams choke, or just plain suck. Ha-ha.

I've lived in the Sacramento area for about 30 years. I grew up going to A's and Kings games with my Dad. I can remember when the Kings moved to town. I grew up rooting for the Kings, A's and 49ers and still do, as hometown blood runs deep. I watch and live sports for the great memories and incredible feats I've witnessed. I am a bit bitter at Jose Canseco for tainting my childhood memories with his cheating.

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, (the Mormons), first and foremost and served my mission among both PAC-10 and Conference USA fans in Tucson, Ariz. and El Paso, Texas. I love the NFL and am exceptionally pleased with the 4-1 start for my Denver Broncos, while I also like the Dolphins, Colts, Seahawks, Eagles and Lions. Obviously, some of these teams are successful, and some are not, but I also like the NBA (GO Mavs), college basketball and would like college football more, if it weren't for the lack of a playoff. I do have Italian in my bloodlines, so if I'm angry, that's why, while I also have British, Danish and Scottish stock. I am a graduate of Southern Utah University and currently work at Mid-Utah Radio in Manti, Utah.
