Charlotte Flair Wins 2025 WWE Women's Royal Rumble for WrestleMania Title Match

Charlotte Flair outlasted 29 other women to win the 2025 women's Royal Rumble match on Saturday.

The Queen entered the 30-woman bout at No. 27 and last eliminated Roxanne Perez, earning a women's title match at WrestleMania 41 in the process.

Flair recorded four eliminations en route to the victory—Piper Niven, Michin, Nia Jax and Perez.

Jax eliminated a whopping eight competitors before getting tossed by Flair, including Iyo Sky, Liv Morgan, Bianca Belair, Naomi, Zelina Vega, Trish Stratus, Raquel Rodriguez and Nikki Bella.

This year's match was perhaps one of the most unpredictable women's Rumbles since it debuted in 2018, as strong arguments could be made for multiple participants to win.

Among the Superstars who announced their entry into the women's match ahead of time, it can be argued that nobody captured more attention than Flair, a 14-time women's champion.

Prior to Saturday, she had not competed in more than a year, after suffering a torn ACL back in December 2024.

The 2025 Royal Rumble was long viewed as a realistic return date for The Queen, and she announced her entry in the weeks leading up to the Rumble through a series of vignettes.

Flair emerged as the favorite based on the hype surrounding her return, but there were several other high-profile competitors in the match with a chance to win as well.

As past Royal Rumble winners, both Bianca Belair and Bayley stood out as legitimate contenders to become the first two-time women's winner as well.

They each parlayed their Rumble wins into title victories at WrestleMania, with Bayley pulling it off last year.

Also, Liv Morgan finished as the runner-up in both the 2023 and 2024 women's Royal Rumble matches, and she was hungry to get over the hump and win, especially after recently dropping the Women's World Championship to Rhea Ripley.

On top of that, there was plenty of potential for surprise entrants to make an impact and throw a wrench into things.

Despite the depth of talent in the field, Flair made good on her status as the favorite and became the first-ever two-time winner of the women's Royal Rumble in the process.

Provided they remain champions on the road to WrestleMania 41, Flair will now have her choice between challenging Ripley for the Women's World Championship or Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women's Championship on The Grandest Stage of Them All.
