Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook Light Up Nuggets, Thunder Win in OT

Grant TaylorCorrespondent IIFebruary 20, 2012

If you thought the duo of Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant wasn't working for the Oklahoma City Thunder, you were wrong.

Westbrook/Durant combined for 91 points to beat the Denver Nuggets 124-118 in overtime today.

Durant had a career-high 51 points in the win, and Westbrook added 40.

On top of that, Serge Ibaka had a triple-double with 15 rebounds, 14 points and 11 blocks.

Aaron Afflalo's 27 points and Chris Andersen's nine in the fourth quarter weren't enough for the Nuggets to hold off the Thunder in regulation.
