Arsenal Transfer News: Latest Alessandro Florenzi and Andrija Zivkovic Rumours
Arsenal face a difficult task in attempting to convince Roma to sell utility Alessandro Florenzi this winter, with speculation also growing in the Gunners' reported pursuit of Partizan Belgrade's Andrija Zivkovic.
According to talkSPORT, the Gunners are in the hunt to sign Florenzi this January as manager Arsene Wenger seeks to bolster his ranks amid this season's ongoing injury woes (h/t Mirror's Aaron Flanagan).

The Italy international is a highly valued figure at the Stadio Olimpico, where manager Rudi Garcia has utilised his talents mainly at right-back, but also on the right wing and in central midfield.
Julian De Martinis of ESPN FC has highlighted Florenzi's high standing among Roma's ranks, enhancing his reputation this season as one of the club's most consistent figures:
"If Alessandro Florenzi isn't the first name on the team sheet every week, fire Garcia.

Arsenal already have a star right-back at their disposal in the shape of Hector Bellerin, and it seems unlikely Wenger will put the Spaniard's starting spot at risk given the current rate of his development.
Florenzi could be seen as a more permanent attacking fixture, however. The 24-year-old scored a long-range golazo against Barcelona earlier this season that earned him a nomination for the 2015 Puskas Award, per BT Sport:
Garcia will be in no rush to let Florenzi leave his squad in the winter following his input in leading the Giallorossi into Serie A title contention this term, nominating the academy product as captain on several occasions.
That gift of responsibility serves as subtle suggestion in regards to how much Roma value their asset, although there's no mention as to how much Arsenal would have to pay should they wish to sign Florenzi.

Flanagan also sourced a report from Spanish newspaper AS, which stated Arsenal will have to fight Atletico Madrid, Villarreal, Valencia and local rivals Tottenham Hotspur for the signature of starlet Zivkovic.
The winger became the youngest player ever to make a senior appearance for Serbia's national team at the age of 17, but FourFourTwo's Charles Ducksbury has outlined the need for young talent to develop properly in a familiar setting:
Now aged 19, Zivkovic has grown to become a key figure at Partizan, scoring nine goals in 20 appearances from out wide this season.
According to Metro's Portuguese expert Jan Hagen, Benfica are yet to strike a deal for the player—whose contract expires at the end of this season—despite speculation to the contrary:
It appears likely that Zivkovic will have his pick of clubs in 2016, although the Gunners could edge their way in front should they wish to pursue a January transfer instead of holding out until the summer.
Injuries to Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have limited the club's options out wide this season, and the Serbian would certainly fit Wenger's preference for investing in young, promising talent.
