As "Captain Fantastic" Steven Gerrard continues to celebrate scoring 100 goals for Liverpool—firmly cementing himself in the club's history books—I have decided to look at all 100 of his strikes, ranging from 40-yard screamers, to 2-yard headers.

Favourite Steven Gerrard goal has to be the second one against West Ham in the FA Cup final! The Olympiakos one, the AC Milan one and the Middlesbrough one run it close but what a goal!
from about 1 month ago
Yes, that was some goal. Just as the duration of injury time was being announced too... What a match and what a goal too!

gerrards strike against olympiacos, ditched school to watch that game, gave the whole team the belief to eventually go on and win it. ur list looks remarkably similar to the one on the official liverpool website btw

Uhm Chris... Gerrards goal vs Olympiacos WAS the winner lol. The score was at 2-1 and they had to win by two clear goals. Stevie made it 3-1 and Liverpool scraped through the groups...

gerrards goal against olympiacos inspired liverpool to go on and win the champions league, without that goal, istanbul would never have happened. i obviously wasn't clear enough as to referring to the competition, rather than the match in question

Nice. I'm going to go with number 64.
Cheers :)

Just an observation, almost half of these goals (44) have come in cup competitions compared to only 56 in the Premier League.
Do people think this sums up why Liverpool have been so spectacular in cup competitions in recent times whereas they haven’t even finished in the top two for the past six seasons?

I actually remember him scoring that first goal against Sheffield Wednesday like it was yesterday, because I taped the match and watched that goal over and over again, and I knew Stevie G was going to be special. It had been a while since someone apart from Michael Owen could rip a defence apart the way he did.
My favourite goal though is the one against Manchester United in 2001. I never get tired of watching it and when he scored it I could not describe how I felt, I was jumping around like a madwoman! To score such a goal against Utd is amazing and it is a goal that I will never forget.
