Lyon 1 - Metz 3 (Coupe De La Ligue, November 11, 2008) Victor Mendy shocked the Stade Gerland, planting a header home to give Metz the lead at Lyon. And the giant-killing was on the cards when Sebastien Renouard fired in the second after the Lyon defense failed to deal with a cross. Cris headed Lyon back into the game after the break, only for Rocchi to pulled Metz further ahead after calamitous goalkeeping left the forward with an open goal.
