Pro Wrestling, WWE, Editorial, Jeff Hardy

For the past few days, well weeks, we have heard and seen what had happened to Jeff Hardy before the WWE event Survivor Series happened.

We heard that he was found passed out on a stairwell by his hotel room in Boston, MA, where Survivor Series was held, yet on SmackDown, we found out he was attacked, so that clears up that it's clearly a storyline, for those who thought otherwise.

Jim Ross and Tazz mentioned it being on TMZ and other sites, but it only made news on WWE.com, so that was all apart of the storyline, too.

But the story was that we all wanted to see Hardy win, he was on a roll beating the Undertaker one week. And getting his shot at the WWE Title by making it a triple threat match at Survivor Series by beating Triple H just days before.

But then just when we expected to see Hardy come out an win, the storyline happened. I mean the crowd absolutely hated it, they shouted out TNA and boring a few times and everything.

Then we all saw Edge come out and also we saw Jeff Hardy come out too for a small time by hitting Kozlov with a chair. And he hit Triple H with a chair accidentally instead of Edge who he was going after.

But who could have come up with this storyline that we all saw that many hated to see, especially Hardy fans?

Well it was a group effort, according to pwrestlingnews.com it was none other than Michael Hayes. Hayes had Vince McMahon's complete blessing, and Stephanie McMahon provided the specific details regarding the angle.

So we saw something that we didn't want to see happen by everyone who could possibly be involved in the process. Hardy and Edge are going to be in a match at Armageddon for the WWE Championship, as you know by Hardy having the best time in the beat the clock challenge on SmackDown.

Although, Triple H could be involved too since he had the same time as Hardy.

The story is just starting, and I have a feeling it will be heating up. As you know by watching the WWE, the champ hardly ever loses the next PPV after a win at the previous one.

Of course we did see the contrary on RAW, but before that I could count on one hand how many times it happened. But it looks as if Hardy will be in one of the best storylines of his career.

Edge and Hardy have been against each other many times, man of those with a ladder involved. Could be see a ladder match at Armageddon? I guess we will have to see.

But for now we know who came up with it, but it is just getting started so I wouldn't get to angry over the angle just yet Hardy fans, it could end up for a WWE Title for Jeff for all we know.

What did you think of the storyline?

  1. I was getting slightly confused when you were saying how bad the storyline was, then going on to say how it could be the best storyline of hardys career. I don’t see how anybody thought it was a bad storyline, although the match with HHH and Vlad wasn't the fastest paced. I really don’t get how fans can boo during a match like that. It must give the WWE writers the idea that every piece of storyline has to be monumental and something new every time, which can lead to some really shit scenarios. like where jeff jumped off the trailer thing at the royal rumble, onto umaga, but where there was clearly a crash mat in the background. and this was vlads first ppv match so give him a bit of leeway. But I do think this could turn in to quite a good storyline if you give it time

    1. ya that was pretty cool, ut I liked when he Swantoned Orton, right before the Royal Rumble last year myself, I think you got your PPVS mixed up but still you remember how cool it was and for that I comend you

    2. ye, your right, it was one night stand in the falls count anywhere match. i think i confused that with the orton one because the were both big swantons. the randy one was a lot cooler, as although there was clearly still a mat there it was from such a big height. i pretty sure he didnt land on orton but there cant have been much room for him to get out the way

    3. YA Jevon they both were pretty obvious events in where they had matresses that Hardy landed on. The Orton one was obvious because he popped up a little. And if he landed right on Orton he wouldn't have. And the one with Umaga was I believe at One Night Stand where all the matches are like that

  2. There were a few things that were disturbing about the story line. First and foremost, Jeff Hardy has a history of "substance abuse" that, should he reach "strike three" would cause him to lose his WWE contract. That was evidenced by the signs in the crowd that said "Stay Clean, Jeff" - so if it is a story-line, let him simply be ATTACKED in his hotel!

Secondly, after the Eddie Guerrero issues in the "hotel", do we really need another HOTEL issue?

And lastly, and I think most importantly, we KNEW Kozlov was not going to win! He certainly can't carry the major championship (he's raw, he's new, he's BORING) and Triple H seemed "ready" for a change - so we knew there was going to be "a change". When it leaked that Edge was in Boston - Checkmate!

    1. ya when he arrived I thought something may happen in the WWE Title match involving Edge, but I didn't think this would happen. I figured Edge would interfere and cost Triple H the title to Kozlov myself. But of course thats what I get for thinking. And the WWE did think this through, they needed to make it believeable and they needed it to be someone who the crowd liked. I didn't like the fact that they hid the attacked part of the storyline until SmackDown as you said considering the history. But Hardy seemed to be the perfect person for the storyline unlike Triple H getting attacked or Kozlov. I do disagree that Kozlov cannot handle a major title, he is really unpopular with the fans true, but he is a true heel and that is something Vince likes. He felll in love with Kozlov as he did Great Khali, so I think we could see a quick title run for him myslef, it has been talked about before.

One thing we do agree on is that the storyline needed more fine tuning, I personally think it is going to be good and word is that new guy Kizarny could be behind Hardy's attck, but it is just a rumor for now. And how appropriat is it that he will be debuting next week on SD!?

  3. I THINK EDGE AND HIS WIFE HAD SOMETHING TO DO WITH IT
